“Our boys attended Children’s Coalition for infancy and toddler and the teachers treated our children like their own.
When we moved off the island and had to change daycares, our toddler was much further advanced then the other children his age at new daycare due to the curriculum he was taught at ChilCo and was moved up a class age level. We loved ChilCo and the staff there beyond measure and our boys have the best memories from their time there too!”

Since 2018, my three children have had the privilege of attending Children’s Coalition (ChilCo) school in Galveston, and I couldn’t be more grateful for the experience. The high-quality teachers at this school have been instrumental in fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment for my kids. Their dedication and expertise have truly made a difference in my children’s educational journey.
One of the standout features of ChilCo is the amazing Frog Street Curriculum. This comprehensive program has provided my children with a solid foundation in early childhood education, ensuring they are well-prepared for their future academic endeavors. The curriculum is thoughtfully designed to engage young minds and promote a love for learning.
The small class ratios at ChilCo have also been a significant advantage. With more individualized attention, my children have thrived in their studies and social interactions. The play-based learning approach has been particularly effective, allowing my kids to explore, discover, and learn in a fun and interactive way.
Additionally, the school teaches American Sign Language (ASL) and Spanish starting in the infant room, which has been incredibly beneficial for my children’s language development and cultural awareness.
Parent involvement is both fun and crucial for the success of the Coalition. The school encourages parents to actively participate, creating a strong sense of community and collaboration.
Overall, the high-quality learning environment at ChilCo has set my children up for success in their long-term education. I am confident that the skills and knowledge they have gained here will benefit them for years to come. I highly recommend ChilCo to any parent seeking a top-notch early childhood education for their children.
